Ways to Give

Planes of Fame Air Museum, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is a living, breathing organization, sustained by contributions from people just like you who believe in the importance of preserving history.

Your tax deductible donation will help the Museum continue the improvement of its collection and displays.

Every time you visit, you can take pride in knowing you had a hand in helping Planes of Fame Air Museum fulfill its mission to "preserve aviation history, inspire interest in aviation, educate the public, and honor aviation pioneers and veterans."

Project Support

A large number of the 268 Museum volunteers can be found working on various projects every Thursday and Saturday and the hangar is open to the public for viewing.  Some projects have been underway for years, but a number are approaching completion and will soon become part of the Museum’s flying inventory. 

A few, such as the P-59 and the Aichi D3A2, will be the only flying examples in existence and all are noteworthy in their own way.



General Operations Support

The Museum needs your support for programs like the Veterans History Project and the Education Program.
Your donation to general operating support helps keep the doors open seven days a week, 363 days a year.


Korean War Memorial

In addition to raising funds for the aircraft restoration projects, the Museum has started a fund for the Korean War Memorial, a lasting tribute to our veterans who sacrificed so much in that war. Centered on an aerial battle between an F-86 and a MiG-15, depicted by the placement of these aircraft on poles by the main Museum main entrance, the memorial will feature an infantryman in full gear gazing up at the battle overhead. A small rotunda with a commemorative plaque completes the memorial.


Personal and Family Memorials

A plaque on the Walk of Fame at Planes of Fame is a wonderful way to honor a loved one. A gift for your favorite enthusiast or a remembrance for a loved one who has passed, you will have made a lasting tribute in their name.


Planned Giving

We can work with your financial planner to designate Planes of Fame Air Museum as the beneficiary of your trust or will. We can also help you find a financial planner to assist you.
