"I visited Planes of Fame about 3 years ago. If I had to offer a one-word description it would be "Wow!" ... I was wearing my VFM uniform shirt and ID badge (and) the folks at Planes of Fame welcomed me like I was a personal friend!"

Air Show Volunteers

Planes of Fame Airshow needs you!

Do you like hard work rewarded by the terrific feeling of doing something to benefit others?

Then you will love volunteering at the Planes of Fame Airshow 2017, May  6th & May 7th.

It takes close to 400 volunteers to put on this amazing air show, voted one of the ten best air shows in the U.S.

There are many jobs to be done and your help is needed. You will be asked to attend an orientation on April 29th and will be assigned your position at that time. There will be one orientation session held at 1:00 p.m. on April 29th.

The window for submitting airshow volunteer applications will close on April 2nd to allow time to process the applications and put together the volunteer packages. Anyone, at this stage, who may still be interested in volunteering for the airshow, but did not submit an application, may email the coordinator at airshowvolunteers@planesoffame.org

Don’t delay – Volunteer Today!

Please complete an Airshow Volunteer Application and Information Form (click on button below) and fill it out and email it to airshowvolunteers@planesoffame.org if you are interested in being an Air Show volunteer.

Tell a friend!

It’s always more fun to work with someone you know. Or come alone and get ready to make new friends at the volunteer party after the air show.

Either way, you will be helping the Museum put on its biggest program of the year, displaying the historic aircraft our volunteers have worked on all year!
