3rd of July, 2021

Saturday, July 3, 2021 at 11:45am.

Considered one of the best allied fighters of the Second World War, the Vought F4U Corsair helped turn the tide of the war for the allied forces in the Pacific.  Whether flying from carriers for the Navy or from land bases for the Marines, the Corsair established an incredible victory ratio against Japanese aircraft and shipping.  This event is your opportunity to see this aircraft up close and learn about its development and success during both World War II and the Korean War.

  • Doors Open at 10:00am
  • Outdoor Presentation at 11:45am
  • Engine Start and Taxi at 12:00pm
  • The aircraft will fly over the Museum for approximately 20 minutes
  • “Coffee on the Run” food and beverage service.  Museum Guides, Living History re-enactors, and other fun stuff!

See you Saturday, July 3.
