Every day at Planes of Fame Air Museum, you can experience history - both the reliving of it and the making of it. When one of our planes flies, for most it is a rare and wonderful thing to witness. Planes of Fame Air Museum has maintained a fleet of flyable historic aircraft for over 60 years! The Museum has operated these types of aircraft longer than the Army Air Corps or Air Force did. Planes of Fame Air Museum truly is where aviation history lives.

You too can experience history through Planes of Fame Air Museum. Maybe you live too far to visit, but we hope this website gives you a taste of what we try to do here every day. And maybe someday, you will hear the roar, look up in the sky and see one of our planes overhead!

“It was terrific to see the P-59...it brought back the feeling of elation I had some 65 years ago when I first saw the real thing... I had about 10 hours in the P-59. Enclosed is my check to be used in the restoration of the P-59.”
Harry M., Little Rock, Arkansas
“My wife and I visited Planes of Fame on Veterans Day, and I just wanted to thank you for the free admission to the museum for being a vet. I appreciate what you do for all the veterans.”

“I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Planes of Fame Air Museum for all you did for my Dad during our visit and to let (a veteran) sit in a B-25 again. You truly made his dream come true. I just don't know how I can really thank you.”

“I loved it (Airshow 2009). You're more than a museum. To see them in the air, hear them...well, I'm preaching to the choir. You're never going to see that many warbirds in the air for the length of time you guys do. I came from the Bay area and it's worth it. Keep up the great work!”
William B., email
“My wife and I really wanted to thank you for the hospitality you extended us when we visited Planes of Fame. Seeing the SBD, Navion, Val and Bf-109 (HA-1112) up close was a treat, but even more so listening to your experiences. We have visited Planes of Fame before, but that day will always stand out as memorable.”
Doug & Maricel R., North Vancouver, B.C.
