Skip Koss was a pioneer in aviation and the industry’s battery authority. He was also an active member of the aviation community, including the EAA and PAMA, donating endless hours to the education of mechanics and pilots. Skip absolutely loved the Planes of Fame Air Museum, it was one of his favorite places and he enthusiastically encouraged people to visit whenever possible. He was a huge advocate! For over 20 years, Skip supported the museum’s mission and looked forward to attending the airshow every year.
Those who wish to honor Skip and his memory may make a contribution to the Skip Koss Memorial Fund. The Skip Koss Memorial Fund will continue Skip’s legacy in support of the mission of Planes of Fame: to preserve aviation history, inspire interest in aviation, educate the public, and honor aviation pioneers and veterans.
