HISTORY

- Mini-Max models are ultralight aircraft sold as kits for amateur construction. First introduced and flown in 1984, over 1800 kits have been manufactured by Team Mini-Max in the United States. Originally designed by Wayne Ison and produced by TEAM Incorporated, the Mini-Max models are a single-seat and engine, low-cost, mid-wing ultralight aircraft.
- Planes of Fame Air Museum’s Mini-Max is a model 1600R Sport that first flew in 1989 and is still in production. It was an award winner in Ultralight Class at multiple Fly-ins.
