Built primarily from the contributions and donations of Museum members and other supporters, the Research Library exists to collect, preserve, and make available its resources for the research of aeronautical knowledge.

The Research Library boasts over 10,000 volumes and other reference materials on virtually all aspects of the aviation field. The Library serves professional researchers, authors, journalists, Museum members and public visitors. Non-lending access to books, magazines, and other archival materials is available during Library hours or by special arrangement. The facility also serves to advance the education needs of Museum staff and volunteers.

Access to the library is included with Museum admission.

Library staff is happy to assist visitors to the Research Library with special projects.
