As a Museum dedicated to the preservation of aviation history, we are always interested in receiving donations of aviation-related personal items, historical artifacts, and memorabilia. These items might span the time frame of early aviation up to today in the areas of general aviation, commercial aviation, and military aviation.
In addition, we are always looking to expand our Library, Archives, and Model Room collections. Aviation-related books, documents, photographs, or built scale model airplanes and un-built airplane model kits are most welcome. If we already have the book or model in our collection, your donation will help us generate needed revenue in support of the Museum’s mission when we place the duplicate item on sale in our Gift Shop or Used Book Store.
The process for donating items to the Planes of Fame Air Museum is simple – it begins with submission of the electronic form (below) identifying the items you wish to donate. Please note that the Planes of Fame Air Museum does not accept items on loan, only through donation that results in a transfer of ownership title. Once we receive the information, our team of specialists will review and discuss the item(s) to see if they meet our needs. We will respond to you within one week of receipt of this form.
