EVENT SPEAKERS:

Can you imagine what it’s like to be alone in the cockpit of a piston powered, adrenaline generating, 4000 horsepower, racing machine flying 50 feet above the ground @ over 500 MPH with 7 other fighting machines all speeding toward the checkered pylon.  On March 16th, beginning at 10AM in Chino, CA with this distinguished panel of racing Champions, imagine no more, from the World’s fastest motorsport you’ll feel it for yourself, experience what they’ve been through and hear all of the stories of what it’s like to be one of the top winners in this most elite class of motorsports.  In over 50 years of air racing at Reno there have been fewer than 30 winners in this unlimited gold category and you’ll hear from many of them and get to share the cockpit with them for a thrill-seeking ride unlike any other in the world.

Scheduled to participate on Saturday March 16th will be one of the winningest, and youngest, Unlimited Gold pilots Steven “Steve-O” Hinton, Pete “Secret Pete” Law, one of the original developers of spy planes at the infamous “Skunk Works”, and still currently involved, behind the scenes team members that helped the pilots win Unlimited Gold with his “secret sauce” mixtures to help with the “go fast” requirement needed to cross the pylon first, Multi-year Unlimited Gold winners Bruce Lockwood and Skip Holm, both crowd favorites and still involved in aviation and racing today.

Moderating the panel will be Chasing Reno Gold Producer Mark Chiolis. In addition to Chasing Reno Gold, Mark has produced “Let’s Go to the Reno Air Races” and “Reno 2012: The Return of Air Racing” after the races shut down in 2011 following the catastrophic crash of an Unlimited racer. “I’ve been shooting air racing at Reno for 30 years and it’s a great pleasure and honor to have the opportunity to spend time with this distinguished group of pilots and crew and to help share their past experiences and hear all about their next adventures out on the horizon, in this, the world’s fastest motorsport.” stated Mark Chiolis. Originally available as DVD’s and Blu Ray disks, Chasing Reno Gold, Let’s Go to the Reno

Air Races and Reno 2012: The Return of Air Racing are now available for download or streaming:  www.justplanefunvideos.com
