24th of April, 2021
We will be hosting a Flying Demo event on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at the Planes of Fame Air Museum with the flight of two aircraft - the North American T-28 "Trojan" trainer and the North American P-51D "Mustang." The event begins at 11:45 with a brief outdoor presentation about these two powerful warbirds followed by engine start-up and taxi away from the presentation area. Both aircraft will then fly over the Museum for approximately 20 minutes. Planes of Fame Air Museum is very happy to present pilots Dan Hill and his T-28 and Ken Wagner and his P-51D "Mustang." Both Dan and Ken and their aircraft recently participated in the 75th commemorative celebration of the end of World War II by taking their aircraft to Pearl Harbor and flying over the many locations that marked America's entry into the war. Discounted Museum Admission gets you in to see this event. The aircraft flight will be visible from all the outdoor areas of the Museum campus. Doors to the Museum open at 10:00am. Please check our new pricing.
Planes of Fame Air Museum thanks both pilots Dan Hill and Ken Wagner and their aircraft for their participation in this family-fun event.
Guests are required to wear face coverings and maintain physical distance to help stop the spread of Covid-19. See you Saturday April 24!
