Remarks: Converted post-war to C-3605 'Schlepp' Target Towing Tug by Farner Werke.

Messerschmitt Bf 108B-1 'Taifun'

Remarks: Designed as an all purpose recreation aircraft. During WWII, the Taifun (Typhoon) was adopted by the Luftwaffe as a liaison aircraft (photo not of the museum's aircraft).

Northrop F-89J 'Scorpion'

Remarks: Transferred to U.S. Navy China Lake and converted to QF-86H target drone.

Lockheed F-104G 'Starfighter'

Remarks: License-built in Belgium. Aircraft flew with Belgian Air Force from 1964 to 1980.

Vought F8U-1 'Crusader'

Remarks: The Museum’s F8U-1 is a first-production version of the carrier-based air superiority aircraft. The 'Crusaders' were in service with the U.S. Navy from 1957 until 1976.

Ling-Temco-Vought A-7A 'Corsair II'

Remarks: The Museum’s A-7A represents the first generation of this versatile attack aircraft which served during the Vietnam War and into the 1980s.

Messerschmitt Bf 109E-7 'Emil'

Location: Chino
Year Built: 1939
Remarks: Actual WWII combat veteran. In April 1942, German ace Wulf-Dietrich Widowitz was shot down in this Bf 109E-7, which was recovered in 2003 from the bottom of a Russian lake.
